The world-renowned Dinagyang Festival, which celebrates the devotion to Señor Santo Niño, has added another feather to its cap by winning two major awards at prestigious international festivals this year.
At the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) Asia Pinnacle Awards, Dinagyang 2025 was honored with the Best Overall Entertainment Program, while it also clinched the Best Dynamic Festival (Dancing) award at the Asia Festival Awards.
Leading this year’s religious festivities was Hermano Mayor, former Iloilo City Mayor Joe Espinosa III, accompanied by his elegant wife, Hermana Mayora Gina Sarabia-Espinosa, both beloved fixtures in Iloilo’s civic and social circles.
The spectacular event was spearheaded by the Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc. (IFFI), under the able leadership of Chairman Judgee Lopez Peña and President Alan Tan, with full support from Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas and Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr.
