Margielyn Didal and Motic Panugalinog flaunted their top-tier skills and tricks to clinch gold medals and rule the Asian Skateboarding Championships 2020 Online Skate Lockdown Video Competition.
Didal, whose road to Tokyo Olympics campaign was cut short due to the outbreak, was eager to find available competitions to keep her form consistent heading to the return of qualifying tournaments.
Scoring an astounding 8.00 final score to oust the other 13 entries, Didal flirted with tricks using benches to nab the title.
Meanwhile, Panugalinog, one of the top male skateboarders in the Philippines, prevailed over tough competition and garnered an 8.92 final score.
Panugalinog’s winning trick involved going out of his house and jumping over an electric fan and a motorcycle.
