ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) or detainee of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Barangay San Jose, Roxas City was arrested by police the other day.
Police served an arrest warrant against June Laserna, 45, of Barangay Milibili here for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Roxas City Regional Trial Court Branch 19 Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate issued the warrant dated Sept 2, 2020.
Laserna was arrested few months ago in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the police.
Several sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspect who was tagged by police as a high value drug personality.
