ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Health officials reported that dengue cases in the province have risen to 56 from January 1 to Feb. 4, 2023.
Based on data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the latest number is 143.48 percent higher compared to the same months last year with 23.
The most affected age group is 20 to 29 years of age. The youngest of the affected person was a 2-month-old baby while the oldest was 93.
Tapaz tops the list with 23 cases, followed by Roxas City (9), Pilar (4), Cuartero (3), and Dumalag and Dumarao (2 each) and Mambusao, Panay, Panitan, Ivisan, Jamindan, Pontevedra, Sapi-an, and Sigma with one case each.
