Dengue cases in Capiz continue to surge

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Dengue cases in Capiz surged to 84 from January 1 to February 25, 2023.
Data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) revealed that the latest number is 154.55 percent higher compared to the same period in 2022 with 33 cases only.
The most affected age group were children 5 years old to 9. The youngest was a 2-month-old baby while the oldest was 93.
Seven new cases were added in the last week of February from Dumalag (3), Roxas City (2), and Tapaz (2).
