ROXAS CITY, Capiz Mayor Gedeon “Ike” Patricio of Pilar, Capiz vehemently denied complaints that he went berserk after losing his reelection bid in the May 13, 2019 midterm elections.
Patricio nixed reports that he dismantled tables at a peryahan or amusement center at Brgy. Cayus, Pilar.
There were also reports Patricio was hospitalized and cannot accept his defeat to Vice Mayor Arnold Perez in the mayoral race.
Newly re-elected Sangguniang Bayan member Mitch Patricio came out and clarified that his father is in good condition.
According to the older Patricio, the accusations were merely fabricated to destroy his name.
Patricio vowed to return and reclaim the mayoral post in the next election.
