Del Rosario said he will turn over the helm of the provincial government to Governor-elect Esteban Evan “Nonoy” Contreras with more or less P1 billion in funds.
“If there is a loan, it was from the past administration which I religiously paid, including the interest”, he added.
Del Rosario said he has accepted his loss to Contreras in the May 13, 2019 elections.
Meanwhile, del Rosario took the opportunity to thank the people of Capiz for supporting him as governor for three years, congressman of the First District of Capiz for nine years, mayor of Roxas City for almost nine years, aside from being vice mayor, city councilor and village chief.
Earlier, del Rosario said he is willing to be shot if allegations that he is corrupt are proven true.
