ONE Fighting Championship flyweight division, are you ready?
Danny “The King” Kingad is back and his campaign in getting that coveted title will start on December 4 in a highly-anticipated matchup against former flyweight title-holder and no. 3-ranked Kairat “The Kazakh” Akhmetov.
The Filipino sensation is entering the ONE FC ring once again ranked at no. 2 and is seeking to have impressive victories to challenge Adriano Moraes for the championship.
The long lay-off amid the COVID-19 pandemic did not bother Kingad and his camp after baring that they did not lose a step during their training.
With Kingad in top form, everybody in his training camp is eager to see his showdown against Akhmetov – one of the best strikers in the division.
Akhmetov’s style is one of the most lethal in the flyweight division but Kingad is coming in confident with his preparation and expects to grab the win.
The main event for December 4 would be Roman Kryklia, the current ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion going up against challenger Murat “The Butcher” Aygun.
