Crisis team to tackle suicide cases spike

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The Roxas City Suicide Crisis Management Team (SCMT) will convene today, July 15, 2019, to tackle and discuss the recent increase of suicide incidents in Capiz, more particularly here.

The meeting with the stakeholders will be held at the Kapis Mansyon Hotel in Brgy. Banica here.

Last week, Mayor Ronnie Dadivas raised alarm over the series of suicide incidents which needs a framework that would address the crisis.

The stakeholders involved are the City Health Office, Provincial Health Office, Department of Health, Capiz Medical Society, Department of Education (DepEd)-Roxas Division, Capiz State University (CapSU) Main campus, CapSU-Dayao campus, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), among others.
