The Creamline Cool Smashers showed no signs of slowing down as they defeated the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders in straight sets, 25-11,25-15,25-17, in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.
Without MVP Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado, the squad still managed to execute their schemes and operated like a well-oiled machine, punishing BaliPure in different ways.
Jema Galanza and Risa Sato made up for the absence of their main gunners, combining for 27 points, chipping in 17 and 10 points respectively.
Creamline carried the momentum from start to finish, displaying the chemistry they had resulting from years of playing together.
While Creamline was hot on the offensive end, BaliPure had a rough night both with their offense and defense, as they just couldn’t seem toget their fooring against the talented Cool Smashers squad.
Graziella Bombita led BaliPure with 8 points while Menchie Tubierra had 6 points and 12 excellent receptions.
