COVID-19 vaccination manual distributed

Bacolod City – Interagency Task Force (IATF) Chief Implementer for the Visayas Gen. Mel Feliciano led the distribution of the Visayas COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center Manual to all local chief executives of the Province of Negros Occidental on Monday.

The handbook contains a comprehensive guide in establishing a systematic, orderly, and standardized method in the roll out of the vaccines.

Governor Eugenio Lacson along with mayors welcomed the IATF Team during the activity held at the Negros Residences in Bacolod City.

“Given the transcendental importance of vaccination, we have to make sure that its implementation must be structured and organized to be able to achieve our desired end, that is to put an end to the COVID crisis in the country,” Lacson said.

The governor also thanked President Rodrigo Duterte and Sen. Bong Go for asserting the whole of nation approach for the equitable roll out of vaccines.

He also acknowledged the effort of Gen. Feliciano, Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary, Michael Lloyd Dino, Usec. Anthony Gerard Gonzales, the Department of Health, and Project Balik Buhay. (With a report from Capitol PIO)
