ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has claimed 41 lives in Capiz as of Thursday.
The Provincial Health Office also reported 14 new cases – 6 in Mambusao, 3 in Roxas City, 2 in Pontevedra; and one each in Pilar, Cuartero and Dumarao towns.
The province has 728 confirmed COVID-19 cases (70 active and 627 recoveries).
Meanwhile, one of the 41 persons who died from COVID-19 was from Roxas City.
The new fatality was a 31-year-old lady and resident of Malipayon Village, Barangay Tiza.
