BACOLOD City – Coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 cases here appears to be declining according to data in the past two days.
Data from the Bacolod Public Information Office sourced from the City Health Office showed that only 16 new positive cases were recorded on Oct 5, 2020.
Data on Oct 3 reported 76 new cases before plunging to 10 on Oct 4.
As of this writing, COVID-19 cases in the city totaled 4,213 (1,141 active cases, 2,982 recoveries, and 90 deaths.
The data also showed the percentage of recoveries is higher at 70.78 percent compared to active cases at 27.08 percent of the total confirmed cases.
Negros Occidental, on the other hand, has 3,270 confirmed cases with 1,215 active cases, 1,984 recoveries, and 71 deaths.
