Couple slain inside house

BACOLOD City – A couple was killed inside their home at Sitio Buli, Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Sunday night.

The victims were Jesselito Hisman, 35 and his partner Maricel Alastra, 35.

Police Major Mark Angelo Junco, city police chief, said that a heated argument ensued between the couple and 40-year-old Jose Benjie Hisman, who is Jesselito’s elder brother.

“They were having a family problem,” Junco added.

Junco said that the suspect and the couple had no old grudges against each other. But their recent altercation reportedly triggered the incident.

Junco said that the suspect allegedly attacked the couple with a gun inside their house.

When both victims were on the floor, the suspect allegedly shot his brother again (at close range), causing his death, the city police chief added.

Both victims died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Police recovered from the scene three fired cartridge of .45 caliber ammunition.

The suspect remains at large.
