Couple shot dead in Negros Or city

BACOLOD City – A couple was gunned down by unidentified assailants at Barangay Minaba, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental Friday morning.

Felix Garganian and his wife Avelina died on the spot.

Police Chief Master Sergeant Edelberto Euroba III, public information officer of Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo), said the victims were riding a motorcycle when they were attacked by the gunmen who quickly fled.

Euroba said they cannot yet establish the motive for the killing and if the suspects tailed or ambushed the couple.
