Couple nabbed with P75-K ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Police arrested a couple and seized 11 grams of suspected shabu worth P75,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Kadena De Amor, Barangay 29 here last Tuesday.

The suspects were identified as JuneJay Tolmo, 41, of Barangay 29 here; and Aileen Claridad, 48, of Barangay Singcang-Airport here.

Police Captain Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 5, said that Tolmo was previously jailed at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City.

He was released last year after he had served his sentence for a drug offense, the station commander added.

Depasucat said they’ve been monitoring the couple for about a month.

Also recovered from them were the P500 marked money, and P500.

Depasucat said that they are checking the background of Claridad to determine if she also has a previous case.
