BACOLOD City – A couple was nabbed for illegal possession and sale of dangerous drugs at Barangay Tuburan, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental Sunday.
Arrested were Artemio Agura Jr., 45; and wife Marilyn, 42, both residents of Barangay Mambulac, Silay City.
Police recovered from the couple nine sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money.
The recovered illegal drugs was worth P90,000, more or less.
Police said the couple was allegedly hiding in the town.
Both suspects are detained at E.B. Magalona Municipal Police Station.
