An alleged drug pusher who has been on the police drug watchlist was arrested late afternoon of Oct. 11 in Molo, Iloilo City.
Fely Bugna alias Kaye, 43, a top drug priority-listed high value individual, was arrested along with her live-in partner Envin Ropero, 37, at their house in Zone 1-A, Barangay San Juan, Molo.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 4 nabbed the couple after they allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P11,000.
Police further recovered five more sachets of suspected shabu and several non-drug items.
Major Marlyn Roquero, ICPS 4 chief, said the seized drugs weighed around 28 grams and had a standard drug price of P190,400.
Bugno was placed under police monitoring for about a month prior to their arrest.
The surveillance operation was done after previously arrested drug pushers pointed to Bugna as their supplier.
The woman allegedly sourced her supply from a contact at the New Bilibid Prison.
The couple is now detained and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
