ROXAS CITY, CapizA city councilor here is mulling to pass a resolution that will require winning candidates to list and post their campaign promises in public places.
Councilor Cesar Yap Jr. said his proposed resolution will inform the public of the promises made by candidates and to keep track if they will make good of such promises if ever they win.
During their regular session on April 30, 2019, Yap said that it is proper for winning bets to lay down their promises and platform of government so that the people will know if they are true to their words.
He said the same Wall of Promise was implemented in Naga City, Camarines Sur which prompted elected officials to deliver their campaign promises.
