Cops seize P272K worth of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Around 40 grams of suspected shabu worth P272,000 was seized by police in a buy-bust in Barangay Taculing here yesterday.
Police identified the subject as Crisvie Jimena, 32, of the said village, who is said to be a street level individual.
Jimena yielded 16 sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and P190 cash.
Jimena, who has yet to be reached for comment, is detained at Police Station 5.
Meanwhile, in Bago City, a 41-year old resident of Barangay Villamonte here was arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Poblacion last Monday.
Confiscated from him were P6,800 worth of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and P220.
