Cops seize gun, drugs in entrapment ops

Officers of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-6 collared an alleged gunrunner on June 30, 2021 at Brgy. Tanque, Sitio Calubihan, Roxas City, Capiz. Arrested was Johny Helario, 53, of Brgy. Tanque, Sitio Calubihan. Helario allegedly sold to an undercover officer a caliber .38 revolver for P3,000. The team also seized the following items:
Officers of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-6 collared an alleged gunrunner on June 30, 2021 at Brgy. Tanque, Sitio Calubihan, Roxas City, Capiz.
Arrested was Johny Helario, 53, of Brgy. Tanque, Sitio Calubihan.
Helario allegedly sold to an undercover officer a caliber .38 revolver for P3,000.
The team also seized the following items: a caliber .38 revolver without serial number, 2 live caliber .38 ammunitions, and the marked money.
They also recovered 4 sachets containing suspected “shabu” with estimated street value of P 8,000, a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter.
The inventory of the pieces of evidence was done by the officials of Brgy. Tanque, Roxas City, Capiz, a media representative witnessed the inventory of the recoveries.
Helario will be charged for illegal possession of firearms and possession of illegal drugs.
