ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police launched a manhunt operation against the suspect who allegedly hacked dead a 25-year-old laborer last Friday evening at Barangay Caidquid, Mambusao, Capiz.
The Mambusao Municipal Police Station identified the victim as Aiber Laurilla while the suspect was Samson Arroza, 48, both of said place.
Investigation by the police indicated that before the incident happened, Laurilla was drinking liquor with his friends at a store.
The victim then proceeded to another store to buy cigarettes because the store where they were drinking had closed already.
Arroza then arrived and hacked Laurilla without any reason or provocation.
The victim suffered hack wounds on the face and other parts of his body. He was declared dead in Mambusao District Hospital.
