A month after they were caught playing bingo, five persons were again arrested late morning of January 18, 2021 in Cabatuan, Iloilo.
Cleofe Camba, 54; Rovie dela Peña, 23; Elizabeth Ducasi, 49; Emily Yniego, 31, and Elvira Ducasi, 71, all residents of Barangay Jelicuon Montinola, Cabatuan, were collared on orders of Municipal Circuit Trial Court Branch 12 Judge Carmela Mae Mallada-Tunguia in Cabatuan.
Lieutenant Pantaleon Amante, Jr., Cabatuan police officer-in-charge, said the suspects are facing charges in Criminal Case No. 3711. The arrest warrant was issued on January 5, 2021.
Bailbond for their temporary liberty was fixed at PHP30,000.
The five persons were part of the group who were caught playing bingo by the police around 4:30PM of December 17, 2020.
Around 30 players were present when police barged in an unfinished house where the bingo games were held.
