ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A police officer was relieved from his post after two minors who were in the custody of the Roxas City police station for theft charges escaped.
Police Master Sergeant Cenon Felipe is no longer the jailer of Roxas City police station effective August 20, 2019
According to Police Master Sergeant Ramil Arcangeles, information officer of the Roxas City PNP, Felipe was on duty when two minors from Brgy. Libas here escaped from their custody.
Arcangeles said the relief order is part of the investigation on Felipe.
The police tried to hide the incident from the media but concerned residents of Libas informed journalists that the two minors were seen in the village despite being arrested.
Felipe is now on floating status at the police station while investigation on the incident is ongoing.
