BACOLOD City – A criminal complaint for rape was filed yesterday against a policeman in Negros Occidental.
This was revealed by Police Captain Karena Onio, head of the Provincial Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD).
In an interview with DyHB -RMN Bacolod, the victim’s aunt said the 12-year-old victim was sleeping when the suspect entered her room and allegedly molested her.
The victim was able to shout for help, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
The incident happened in Cadiz City last Tuesday.
The suspect and the victim’s mother have been together for three years now, according to the victim’s aunt.
