A convenience store was robbed by two still unidentified men early morning of Oct 9, 2022 in Dingle, Iloilo.
The two robbers entered the 7-Eleven store on Muyco St., Barangay Poblacion, Dingle around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday.
At the time of the Incident, the store was manned by employees Josie Clarino, 30, of Barangay Cau-ayan, Pototan, Iloilo and Elmer Adolacion, 22, of Barangay Salacay, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
The attendants identified one of the suspects as around 50 years old and wore a black sweater, black pants, and with a red bonnet.
The other suspect was in his 30s and wore a maroon t-shirt and black pants. His face was concealed with a black shirt.
At gunpoint, the suspects declared the hold-up and carted away around P10,000 cash.
The two assailants used a black sedan as their getaway vehicle.
When reached for comment more than 13 hours after the incident, Lieutenant Aileen Lacrite, Dingle police chief, has only confirmed the incident but temporarily declined to provide information claiming that they’re conducting a hot pursuit operation.
