BACOLOD City – Policemen are probing two unidentified perpetrators behind the robbery incident in a convenience store in Barangay Poblacion, Cauayan, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Police Major Anthony Grande, town police chief, said the employee was at the cash register when the robbers entered the store around 3:40 a.m.
The two robbers then allegedly threatened the 23-year-old employee at gunpoint and declared a hold-up.
The robbers, who were wearing jackets and face masks were allegedly armed with a .45 caliber firearm and a .38 caliber revolver.
They allegedly carted away P20,000 cash and fled.
Grande said they already have a copy of the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage.
