Construction worker stabbed dead in Ivisan

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 52-year-old construction worker was stabbed to death Saturday afternoon at Barangay Poblacion Norte, Ivisan, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Juvy Baldogo of Brgy. Malocloc Norte of said town.
The suspects were Ronald Sayson Sargento, 37, and Ariel Olisco Francisco, 30, both of Brgy., Poblacion Norte also in Ivisan, and Niño Sayson Sargento, 22, of Brgy., Libo-o, Mambusao, Capiz.
Investigation by the Ivisan Municipal Police Station indicated that Baldogo was working when the suspects arrived at the construction site.
A heated argument ensued between the suspects and the victim until the trio took turns in stabbing the latter.
Baldogo succumbed to stab wounds on his body at a hospital.
Ronald Sargento voluntarily surrendered to the police while Francisco was arrested in a hot pursuit operation.
A manhunt operation was launched against Niño Sayson Sargento who is still at large.
It was learned that the suspects were drunk when the incident happened.
Police are eyeing old grudges as the motive for the incident.
