Construction worker killed in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 21-year-old construction worker died after his motorcycle accidentally collided with a car Sunday evening at Sitio Gabok, Brgy. Conciencia in Panitan, Capiz.
Regie Deciembre Dorado of Brgy. Tincupon also in Panitan was declared dead on arrival at Bailan District Hospital.
Investigation by Panitan Municipal Police Station indicated that Dorado was on his way home when he collided with a Nissan Frontier driven by Rey Descalzota Delfin, 58, of Brgy. Indayagan in Maayon town.
Delfin was on his way to Roxas City when the accident happened.
The victim succumbed to head and body injuries.
Dorado was with fellow construction workers Arnel Aletre Bolante, Donald Deciembre Icayan and Roland Dollete Aletre, who were also driving their own motorcycles. But the victim overtook them and eventually collided with Delfin’s car.
Delfin voluntarily surrendered to Panitan police after the incident.
