Construction worker killed, another hurt in road mishap

DUMALAG, Capiz – A construction worker died while another was injured when their motorcycle crashed into an aggregate stockpile at Barangay Consolacion, Dumalag, Capiz.

Police identified the fatality as Renante Exel, 44, also of said place while Jerry Danid, 50, of Poblacion Tapaz, Capiz was injured.

Investigation conducted by the Dumalag police station said the victims were on the way from Mambusao town when the motorcycle hit a supply stockpile for an irrigation project in the area.

Exel sustained fatal injuries in the different parts of his body which caused his death.
