Construction worker hacked by colleague in Tapaz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A construction worker was seriously wounded after he was hacked by a fellow worker Sunday afternoon, April 5, in Barangay Poblacion, Tapaz, Capiz.
The victim was identified as alias Mic, 24, while the suspect was identified as alias Padoy, 44, both residents of the area.
An investigation by the Tapaz Municipal Police Station showed that the victim and the suspect were on a drinking binge with their co-workers beside a river when the incident happened.
Police said the suspect suddenly took a bolo and hacked the victim in the jaw.
The victim was immediately brought to Tapaz District Hospital by his colleagues.
The suspect was arrested by police and is now under the custody of the Tapaz Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
