Construction worker dies of electrocution at workplace

A young construction worker died from electrocution at his workplace in La Paz, Iloilo City.
Justine Luis Mandario, 19, a resident of Barangay Ilajas, Dingle, Iloilo was unconscious when found outside the workers’ barracks inside the ISAT University campus in Burgos Street, La Paz.
Major Jose Val Ladublan, Iloilo City Police Station 2 chief, said the university’s security guard informed them about the incident around 4 p.m. of April 3.
Investigation indicated that the victim took a bath at the barrack’s comfort room prior to the incident.
He may have tripped upon an open wire when he got out of the comfort room.
Mandario was rushed to West Visayas State University Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.
