Former Iloilo City Public Safety and Transportation Management Office (PSTMO) head Jeck Conlu has officially taken his oath as Director I and Assistant Regional Director of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 6.
Conlu was sworn into office before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin and Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista in a ceremony that highlighted his transition to regional public service.
“I am humbled and honored to serve the people of Western Visayas in this new capacity,” Conlu said during the ceremony.
Conlu will serve alongside LTO-6 Regional Director Atty. Gaudioso Geduspan II.
With years of experience managing public safety and transportation in Iloilo City, Conlu brings expertise and a deep understanding of urban mobility challenges to his new role.
Iloilo City Representative Julienne “Jam Jam” Baronda extended her congratulations to Conlu, praising his dedication to public service.
“We are proud of Jeck Conlu’s appointment as Assistant Regional Director of LTO-6. His unwavering commitment to public service, which greatly benefited Iloilo City, will now serve the entire Western Visayas. We are confident that he will excel in this new role,” Baronda said.
