ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A lending firm collector who went missing for three days was found dead in a remote area of Brgy. Punta Tabuc here.
The remains of Renante “Nonoy” Cepra, 36, of Brgy. Maya, Balasan, Iloilo was spotted hanging in a talisay tree at Sitio Cassandra, Barangay Punta Tabuc.
Police Lt. Colonel Dante Tayco, Roxas City police chief, said they will investigate if there was foul play in Cepra’s death amid initial findings that he committed suicide
Physical examination conducted on the body of the victim showed no injuries in his body implying that the victim committed suicide by hanging.
But Cepra’s family doubted the findings of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) because his feet was on the ground when found.
Investigators said Cepra used his belt bag in allegedly hanging his neck.
It was learned that Cepra’s sibling also committed suicide in Metro Manila recently.
Cepra was temporarily residing in a boarding house together with his girlfriend in Brgy. Baybay here.
