BACOLOD City – A construction worker wanted for rape charges was arrested by police at Barangay Tangub here Sunday.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Bacolod nabbed the 42-year-old suspect, who is listed as the 12th most wanted person of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
The arrest warrant with no bail recommended was issued by Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin of Regional Trial Court Branch 41 here.
The suspect, whose name was withheld, was accused of allegedly raping his daughter, whom he impregnated, according to the CIDG.
He is now detained at Police Station 8.
