Chris Pratt battles an AI judge in ‘Mercy’ trailer

A detective races against a 90-minute deadline to prove his innocence or face the death penalty in the sci-fi thriller Mercy.

The film stars Chris Pratt as a disgraced detective on trial for the murder of his wife, and Rebecca Ferguson as the artificial intelligence (AI) judge known as Mercy.

The movie is directed and produced by Timur Bekmambetov, who popularized the screenlife format through titles such as Unfriended (2015) and Searching (2018).

Mercy will open in Philippine theaters on Jan. 28, 2026, including IMAX and 3D screenings.
