The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) decided to freeze the 3×3 world rankings for players and teams amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Pasig Chooks-to-Go squad, who represented the Philippines in the official 3×3 competition of FIBA, was officially ranked as 27th in the world.
Pasig’s ranking was based on their best performances for the last 12 months plus their place on that specific tournament.
For the FIBA 3×3 player rankings, Joshua Munzon is still PH’s number one player with 187,485 points, followed by Alvin Pasaol with 124,986.
Both Munzon and Pasaol are members of the Chooks-to-Go pool and are also the current 1-2 punch of team Philippines in the now-suspended 3×3 FIBA tournament.
Completing the list of the top 3×3 players are Dylan Ababou who ranked third with 91,011 points, Karl Dehesa with 87,364, Troy Rike racking up 69,152 points, Santi Santillan with 67,525, Chris De Chavez with 51,212, Franky Johnson with 42,069, Gab Banal with 29,881, and Roosevelt Adams with 29,274.
