BACOLOD City – Concerned netizens here appealed to the City Health Office (CHO) to also release the certification of persons who tested negative for the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
Netizens took to social media their concern as some of those who were subjected to swab test through contact tracing were required by their workplace to show a certification that their swab test result was negative.
A netizen claimed that until now, they were not given their negative result after they were swabbed almost two months ago after their kin got infected with COVID-19.
She said she was advised by the Barangay Health Worker to check with the CHO only to be told to do so through the hotline numbers.
It turned out the hotlines are not functioning, she said.
Another follow up made with the BHW also proved futile as she was informed that they are just waiting for the certification from the CHO.
Another netizen said that CHO personnel who are tasked to pick up those who are positive for the virus do not even show the positive result.
They just informed the infected person to go with them.
