In his tweet on Monday morning, Escudero lauded Robredo for being “dignified” and “on point” when answering questions.
Escudero was among Robredo’s rivals to the vice presidential post during the 2016 elections. He is now part of the senatorial ticket of the Ping Lacson-Tito Sotto and Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan tandems in the 2022 elections.
The senatorial hopeful also echoed the sentiment of netizens about Gonzales’ performance during the debates. “The sincere & genuine desire for change of Sec. Norberto Gonzales throughout the debate was also very refreshing!”
Escudero is also part of vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s list of personal bets.
