One of the most highly touted Filipino boxers is starting to make noise in the professional scene after notching his sixth straight victory.
Former Olympian Charly Suarez is yet to drop a match after deciding to turn professional following an impressive performance against Pablito Canada Jr.
In their scheduled six rounds of action in the super featherweight division, Canada Jr.’s corner threw in the towel during the fourth round after Suarez dominated the match.
Getting picked apart by Suarez’s punches, Canada had trouble keeping up with the Filipino fighter’s frenetic pace.
Experience-wise, Canada Jr. had the edge against Suarez, competing in already 26 bouts compared to the opposing’s six-match record.
However, Suarez’s immense power and well-timed offensive counters proved to be the difference in the bout as he pounced Canada Jr. from the get-go and never looked back.
Suarez embraced the spotlight and wowed the attendees at the Urdaneta Cultural Sports Complex in Pangasinan in his sixth straight pro win.
