Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) is set to launch direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City on April 7, 2025, becoming the first airline to connect Central Visayas directly to Vietnam.
The budget carrier will operate the route three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—expanding travel options for Filipinos and international visitors.
“As Vietnam continues to grow in popularity among Filipino travelers, launching a new gateway to the country via Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting step for Cebu Pacific,” said Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer. “We look forward to offering travelers from Cebu the chance to explore a new destination more seamlessly and to welcoming more international visitors to discover the Philippines.”
To celebrate the launch, Cebu Pacific is offering a special Piso Sale from Feb. 20 to 24, allowing travelers to book Cebu-Ho Chi Minh flights for as low as PHP1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The promo applies to travel from April 7 to July 31, 2025.
Passengers can use existing Travel Funds to book flights and avail themselves of add-ons. Other payment options include credit and debit cards, as well as e-wallets.
With this new route, Cebu-based travelers can easily visit popular Ho Chi Minh attractions such as the Cu Chi Tunnels, Ben Thanh Market, and the Saigon Central Post Office.
Cebu Pacific currently operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
