Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, has reached another delivery milestone as it safely transports over 60 million COVID-19 vaccine doses across the country.
To date, CEB has safely airlifted life-saving vaccines to 31 provinces since March 2021, namely: Bacolod, Basilan, Boracay, Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Coron, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Jolo, Kalibo, Legazpi, Masbate, Naga, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, San Jose, Siargao, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Tawi-Tawi, Virac, and Zamboanga.
Cagayan de Oro received the highest number of vaccine shipments among the provinces, followed by Tacloban, Cotabato, Zamboanga and Legazpi.
All vaccines were stored in containers with the established temperature limit to ensure that doses are preserved until arrival at the designated stations.
“These vaccine deliveries are vital for supplying booster shots for everyJuan. We are happy to keep on doing our part in the timely delivery of these lifesaving vaccines,” said Alex Reyes, Chief Strategy Officer at Cebu Pacific.
CEB has attained 100% vaccination rate for its active flying crew through its very own employee vaccination program, JG Summit COVID Protect, and various partnerships with local government units in the country. 95% of the active flying crew have been boosted to ensure the continued safety of its employees and passengers.
