Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) took delivery of a brand new Airbus A320neo, boosting its operational capacity as demand rises ahead of the holiday travel season.
The aircraft is the airline’s first A320neo and fourth overall delivery in 2025, following the arrival of three Airbus A330neo units earlier this year.
The new narrowbody jet arrived in Manila from Airbus’ manufacturing facility in Toulouse, France, and will be deployed on regional routes.
“This latest delivery helps ensure we have enough capacity to serve passengers looking to fly home or discover new destinations this holiday season,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“We’re committed to making travel more accessible and convenient, especially during this time of year when more Filipinos take to the skies,” he added.
Cebu Pacific said the addition supports both domestic and international operations as part of its ongoing fleet modernization strategy.
The airline is scheduled to receive three more aircraft in the coming months, reinforcing its long-term goal of providing safe, reliable, and affordable air travel.
