Cebu Pacific adds 15th A330neo, targets all-NEO fleet

MANILA — Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) has taken delivery of its 15th Airbus A330neo, further strengthening its position as the largest A330neo operator in Asia and expanding the share of newer-generation aircraft in its fleet.
The aircraft arrived in Manila from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, on Oct. 10.
It marked Cebu Pacific’s fourth aircraft delivery and first widebody delivery of the year.
“The delivery of our 15th A330neo aircraft is an important milestone for Cebu Pacific as we continue to build a more modern fleet,” said Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer.
“The A330neo offers significant fuel saving compared to previous-generation aircraft and gives us the flexibility to serve different markets across and beyond the Philippines.”
Cebu Pacific expects to receive seven NEO aircraft in 2026, further increasing the share of newer-generation aircraft in its fleet.
With the latest delivery, NEO aircraft now account for 78% of Cebu Pacific’s jet fleet.
The airline aims to operate an all-NEO jet fleet by 2030.
According to Cebu Pacific, NEO aircraft consume 15% to 20% less fuel per flight than previous-generation aircraft and produce significantly less noise.
The improved fuel efficiency also helps reduce carbon emissions and supports more sustainable airline operations.
Cebu Pacific operates one of the youngest fleets in the world.
Its fleet consists of 15 Airbus A330s, 27 Airbus A321s, 38 Airbus A320s and 20 ATR turboprop aircraft.
The mix of narrowbody, widebody and turboprop aircraft enables Cebu Pacific to serve a broad network of domestic and international destinations.
