The turnover was held May 21, 2026, in Cauayan, according to a PSA press release dated June 8, 2026, with Reference No. 2026-06-1845-99.

Mayor John Rey D. Tabujara personally welcomed the PSA staff and expressed appreciation for facilitating the official turnover of the CBMS data to the municipal government.
Tabujara led the acceptance of the flash drive containing the 2024 CBMS data files.
He was joined by Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Arch. Randolf B. Galon and Joenil S. Tilad Jr., Data Controller/GIS Specialist.
The data files were delivered by PSA Negros Occidental representatives Statistical Specialists II Ramon M. Locsin and Fredimar M. Gonzales, and Statistical Analyst Christian Leonard Amario.
The turnover highlights the continuing collaboration between PSA and the Cauayan local government to make accurate and up-to-date data accessible for long-term development planning, transparency and effective public service delivery.
