BACOLOD City – A carpenter was found dead at Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Saturday night.
The victim was identified as Eric Vega, 31, of Barangay Maglahos, Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental.
Investigation showed that Vega was stabbed by an unidentified perpetrator in his back.
He was found unconscious on the roadside around 7 p.m.
The victim was taken to San Carlos City Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police have yet to determine the motive and the identity of the suspect.
