Carpenter found dead

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 27-year-old carpenter was found dead Friday morning inside a construction site at Sitio Patag in Brgy. Lawaan here.

Robert Ureta of Sitio Carmelite also in Lawaan is believed to have been electrocuted to death.

Investigation conducted by Roxas City police indicated that Ureta was last seen alive in a drinking spree with fellow construction workers Thursday night.

At around 11:45 p.m., Ureta went up to the second floor of the building where they worked to sleep.

Authorities considered electrocution as the cause of his death because of the burns found in his body. There are open live wires in the building, police said.
