ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 21-year-old poultry caretaker was found dead inside a nipa hut Thursday morning at Barangay Ibaca, President Roxas, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Jimmy Boy Perez of said village who was found by his employer Relin Bunayon inside a hut bathed in his own blood.
Investigation conducted by President Roxas police station indicated that the victim was alone in the hut that night.
Recovered from the crime scene was a .38-caliber revolver with three live ammunitions inside the cylinder.
The victim was brought to Bailan District Hospital in Barangay Bailan Pontevedra, Capiz where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police are looking at three possible angles in the incident. One is accidental firing, or somebody might have killed him. It is also possible he committed suicide.
