As part of its goal to bring the financial services closer to the unbanked and underbanked communities, CARD Bank opened its 96th branch in Beatriz Village, Danao City, Cebu on November 18, 2019.
The newly inaugurated office is the bank’s 1st branch in the province of Cebu. CARD Bank is driven by its mission to promote accessible, affordable, and adequate financial services for all. The bank offers micro and business loan products, savings products, and remittance services.
The opening was graced by CARD Bank President and CEO Marivic Austria, Executive Vice President Lourdes Dijan, Senior Adviser Lorenza Bañez, staff, members, and representatives from other CARD MRI institutions.
CARD Bank is a member institution of CARD MRI, a group of mutually reinforcing institutions that aims to eradicate poverty in the country by promoting financial inclusion. To date, the bank has served more than 3.1 million clients nationwide.
