Capiz’s top 8 most wanted person arrested for murder

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A man listed as the Top 8 most wanted person at the provincial level was arrested Sunday night, September 1, in Barangay Calaan, Panitan, Capiz.
Police served the warrant of arrest against the suspect, identified as alias “Roland,” 43, a laborer, at his house around 8:59 p.m. for the crime of murder.
The warrant was issued by Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 19, Roxas City, on August 2, 2022.
The court recommended no bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
He is currently in the custody of the Panitan Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and court referral.
The suspect was charged with the brutal killing of a neighbor two years ago. He fled after learning that a warrant for his arrest had been issued.
Police monitored the suspect’s return to his home, which led to the immediate implementation of the warrant.
